Is It Safe To Have Sex If Having A Wound Inside The Penis?
hi about a week ago i had a zipper accident....the next day when urinating there was a slight burning only at the tip of the penis..upon examination i noticed a small scar inside the tip of the penis...it only burns when urinating but that was about a week ago now i feel no burning anymore but the inside the tip of the penis is still white-ish as if the scar is trying to heal...is this normal or is there anything i need to do and is it also safe to have sexual intercourse if this is considered an open wound inside my penis...Please help

Dear I read facts of your query and reviewed it in context to your health issues submitted.
I understood your health concerns and feel Concerned about them.
IN the given scenario, I would suggest you to wait for a week,though there is no active wound on penis.To avoid Recurrence of the penile abrasion/ ulcer wait for 1 week more by which wound would stabilize to sustain the sexual act.
Besides this Unprotected sex with unknown partner increases exposure risk to HIV and STD.So wait for 1 week.
Get Second opinion with Urologist/ Surgeon.Just don't worry and be patient and co-operate with your doctors,till you verify with your attending doctors.
