Hi ,i m hina ,mother of morfan girl ,she gone through aorta n mechanical valve surgery ,she use to take warfrin ,dose adjusted by pt n inr test ,but now according to new research dr advised to take lowplat ( clopidogrel +asprin) Is it fyn ? During this drug therapy ,she dont need to go for inr test ??? Did she allow to take green leafy vege ??did she can consume vit k ?? Plz disolve my confusion

Aspirin plus clopidogrel can be given as replacement to warfarin as blood thinners
With asp/clop there is no need to have regular INR TESTS. SHE CAN HAVE GRENN LEAFY VEGGIES.
