Is It Safe To Give Zenflox Dry Syrup For Diarrhea In Infants?
Hi ,My baby is 11 Months old.. And she s suffering frm loose motion nd vomiting .. Doctor gave her Domstal_baby syrup for vomiting and [Metrogyl suspension syrup & Bifilac powder ] ... Baby got Relief frm vomiting .. But stools not yet stopped....so went to another doctor ,, he gave Zenflox plus dry syrup.. Is this medicine safe for my baby.. I stopped Giving Cow milk for d baby... And now I give her ISOMIL ..NEED BEST SUGGESTION

Let me tell you that most of the times, diarrhea in infants are viral in origin and so babies need to be rehydrated well with additional electrolytes. But as vomiting is also there so it seems that the doctor is treating it as an infective diarrhea and you do not need to worry. Zenflox is an antibiotic. You can talk to your baby's doctor though.
