Is It Safe To Give Relent And Viscodyne -D Together To A 2 Years Old Child?

Hi.My daughter who is 2 yrs and 6 months old often suffers from cold and dry cough.During night she coughs very badly and has difficulty in breathing.earlier she was prescribed Relent .Is it ok to continue with the same syrup along with dry cough syrup like viscodyne -D.she had also been on antibiotic almost for every two months.

I don't think antibiotics are a solution of this. It could be simple viral illness or a viral upper respiratory illness which is recurrent. Other possibility is a multi triggered wheeze or a viral episodic wheeze.
