Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

UNDERSTANDING YOUR CONCERN.

I have gone through you query.Yes you can drink mildly cold water after extraction .Do not rinse or swish vigorously .do not spit or do any forceful action like sucking for at least two days after extraction.Otherwise clot will be dislodged and slow down healing process and may lead to formation of dry socket.

Eat soft food like mashed boiled potato or gelatin and eat it with other side of mouth.Do not touch extraction with your tongue.

If you lost one stitch and the extraction site is not bleeding then its normal. If it starts bleeding then it will be a problem and you should visit dentist to get stitches back.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
