Is It Safe To Continue With Norco Instead Of Lortab?

Hello, yes, my doctor recently changed my lortab script to norco. The norco seems to make me drowsy as where the lortab did not. I only take them periodically for migraines. But with the lortab, I could take and still work. I took my first norco last week while at work and had to leave. There was no discussion at my appt about changing the scripts. I was just wondering why it was changed and why does one make me tired and not the other. Thank you
