Is It Safe To Be On Aderall With Tricuspid Valve Regurgitation?

I have mild tricuspid valve regurgitation. My md prescribed me Adderrall for ADHD. I took it one day and my pulse was 132. I did not feel like my heart was racing. I felt surprisingly calm but my heart rate worried me so I never took it again. Is it safe to be on Adderrall with this condition?

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

Adderall is a psychostimulant drug which is a mixture of amphetaphine salts.

It can be associated with increased heart rate and can also cause an increase in blood pressure. These increases may not necessarily cause you complications but if you are concerned you should speak to your doctor.

I hope this helps
