I AM 35 YEAR OLD AND LAST 2-3 YEAR I WAS VERY MUCH EFFECTED WITH ACIDITY PROBLEM. THEN A DOCTOR ADVICE ME TO TAKE EARLY MORNING A TAB. OMESAC 20. I ASKED HIM WHETHER LONG USE OF THIS TABLET IS SAFE AND HE REPLIED THAT NO PROBLEM. MA'M I AM HAVING THIS TABLE SINCE 2-3 YEAR, IS THIS SAFE?

Omesac(Omeprazole ) 20 mg orally daily before food or on empty stomach in the morning can be taken as maintenance dose for Acid-peptic disease Long-term PPI(proton pump inhibitor) is restricted in persons above 65 years of age due to prolonged acid-suppression.You can discontinue it ,if you feel no acid symptoms, any more.
