Is It Recommended To Take Lipicard-av For Another 6 Months Though Cholesterol Is Back To Normal?

I have been taking lipicard AV for 3 months now and advised to take it for 6 months more, even though my cholestrol is back to normal. Can I take other medications like disprin or combo flam sometimes, when I m taking lipicard. Can lipicard be taken so long?

Hi and welcome to HCM. LIPICARD-AV contains atorvastatin 10 mg, fenofibrate 160 mg and used to treat dyslipidemia. Your doctor has done the right thing and it is necessary to continue these medications even after normal lipid profile. Disprin and combiflam has no drug interactions with lipicard AV, u can use them if needed. Also follow dietary instructions given by your doctor. All the best. Regards
