After using Insulin for 2 yrs switched back to oral medicines for 1 year for the ease of oral route.. My H2AC went to 7.5 I came back to Insulin+metformin for 1 more yea r and got back to H2ac to 6.5. I wish to go back to oral route {Onglyza 10 mg+Metformin 1500mg} or Daonil M 3times a day 15mg+1500. Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. If you are continuing insulin then it is the best in controlling diabetes with less complications. Daonil (sulfonylureas) are not recommended according to new recommendation. So if you want to skip insulin then Onglyza and metformin you can choose.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.
