General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
I understand your concern.
The pain your wife has today is not like normal pain she has... it's due to uterine contractions .. which should not be interfered with. It stops after complete expulsion of the fibroid. At the most you can give her half a pill of Dizapam along with usual pain pill , which will sedate her & give her some relief.
In case of unbearable pain take her to ER.. where injectible pain relievers can be given / she will be helped by managing uterine contraction & expulsion.
Thanks.
Thanks.
