Is It Possible For A Teenager To Be Diagnosed With Hypertension?
Hi. I'm doing a project on hypertension and one of my questions is , is it possible for a 15 year old or teenager on the hold to be diagnosed with hypertension. they must experience dizziness , a pulsating motion behind their neck and nose bleeds. I asked around nd i can't seem to get a stright answer. Can anyone please me?
Rates of high blood pressure in children and adolescent have increased in the last 20 years in the United States. Most childhood hypertension, particularly in preadolescents, is secondary to an underlying disorder. Aside from obesity, kidney disease is the most common (60–70%) cause of hypertension in children. Adolescents usually have primary or essential hypertension, which accounts for 85–95% of cases.
