Is It Okay To Take Subutex By Myself With The History Of Seizures?

Hello, with a past history of seizures would the patch or subutex be alright for myself to take. I have been take tramadol for six or seven years, and it is just not working. Also, I was considering Nucynta but it does have some warnings about seizures. Have a friend that does get great results from Nucynta. Thank You-Gary

Dear Gary.
Hi , I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern.
"NO NOT AT ALL" - A single line advise for you.
You have to understand that , Seizure disorder needs to be evaluated for it's cause. Cause can be even treatable. Even if no cause is found , a systematic approach is required to treat Seizure Disorder.
You should get your MRI Brain and EEG , followed by a perfect treatment from your doctor.
Don't treat it yourself.
This is my personal opinion based on details available here. If you want to discuss your issues further, you may please ask us
