In my opinion, your blood sugar is not in very good control. The target of fasting blood sugar should be below 120 mg/dl, and after food should be below 160 mg/dl and target Hba1c should be below 6.5%.
I am very happy to see that you are following the diet. Exercise is very important in the early stages of diabetes to control your weight and blood sugar. I suggest you do exercise daily for forty-five minutes and check your Hba1c% again after three months in case of no response you might need to start medication.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
