Is It Ok To Have Urothelial Cells And Should They Be Irregular In Size?

I had a cystocopsy and have questions about my lab report. Description says moderately cellular specimen containing frequent urothelial cells distributed individually and in irregularly shaped, cohesive groups. The cells range from basaloid appearing cells to superficial cells. ...... My questions: is it ok to have urothelial cells and should they be irregular in shape, and in cohesive groups? What is basaloid and superficial cells?
