Is It Ok To Give Vomikind To A Child For Stomach Ache And Vomiting After His Temperature Recovered From A Viral Infection?
Hello Team, My 4 and half years old son is suffering from stomach pain and vomiting, can I give Vomikind? He had fever for the past 2 days and have no temperature now. We took him to a pediatrician yesterday, She suspected viral fever since, my in-laws were also down with viral infection. She had put him on P250 syrup (5 ml - 6 hourly).
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Vomikind will help only for vomiting and not for the stomach pain. Just see there are no associated symptoms like loose motion, bloating of the abdomen or pointed pain in the abdomen by the child. If so get a revisit to the pediatrician.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. T Chandrakant
