Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband had a stroke last year but is doing well now and wanted to join friends skydiving this weekend. His blood pressure is in the normal range now and is taking plavix, lisinopril, carvedilol and crestor daily. Is it okay for him to do skydiving?
It's advisable to consult your treating neurologist before making a decision as low pressure at high altitudes can cause injury to nervous tissue as he is also on PLAVIX. If I'll be his treating doctor I would not advise to go for it, nothing is more important than a healthy life without disabilty.
I wish him good health
