Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi your knee pops out when you dance and goes back and has residual pain after that. My diagnosis would be a recurrent dislocation of patella or it could be discoid meniscus. Discoid meniscus is generally harmless but repeated pain may invite operation. Recurrent dislocation will require quadriceps strengthening exercises and if recurrence persists then operation.
