Is It Normal To Have Numbness In Foot 2 Months After Frostbite?

Hi, a doctor diagnosed my foot with frostbite two months ago as it had lost a bit of feeling and had a large blister on one toe. The blister has now healed but my foot is still a little numb and also, it gets very red/purple whenever I stand for a few seconds. I was wondering if this could be serious or if it is normal two months after a frostbite. Thank you.

Whenever there is frost bite it can cause damage to skin as well as nerve. So despite healing of skin nerve regeneration take place very slowly or some time not at all. So it causes feeling of no sensation or very little sensation. It is not harmful but because of lack of feeling this part can become blue if expose to extreme cold. I would suggest you to protect this part. Do not allow this part to come in contact with very cold or warm atmosphere. It will recover, slowly. Take Methylcobal tablet which will helpnerves o grow.
