Is It Normal To Have Low Grade Fever While Having Ovarian Cyst?

Can you have a low grade fever with an ovarian cyst? Other symptoms- nausea & vomiting, severe pain right pelvis And stomach radiating to thigh & lower back, constipation ....although I didn t feel constipated until pain started. Can t stand up well or get comfortable even sitting. Thanks...oh I have h/o ovarian cyst, ovarian rupture, endometriosis. Hard tell when it s just me like another cyst or something more serious. If I went to doc or hospital each time I hurt I d be there a lot. Although this is worse.

Hello,

As you have history of ovarian cyst and cyst rupture, do not ignore it. My advice would be, get an ultrasound done as soon as possible or visit ER so that pain medications will be administered as the pain is extreme, i.v it I.m medicines would provide faster relief.

Also regarding other symptoms of vomiting and fever. The ultrasound reports will be helpful in knowing cause behind the pain. Fever is very less likely associated with ovarian cyst. Although sometimes it can be there. Apart from this, other causes of pain can not be denied like appendicitis, or even due to constipation the pain can aggravate.
