Is It Normal To Have Increased Cough After Adenoid Removal In An Infant?

My 10 month old just got his adenoids out. He had a cough before we had it done, and now it actually sounds a little worse. His surgery was 4 days ago, is this normal? Also he just had a tooth break thru last night, so he has lots of drool. No fever, pretty fussy, last night had disrupted sleep.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Removal of adenoids in a 10 month old seems to be early. Further there are many causes of cough including lower respiratory infection.
At present give him syrup Ventorlin 3 ml two times a day and consult a doctor if cough does not improves.
