Hi, thanks for asking from HCM.
I can understand your concern. The sudden fall can cause vigorous movement of body and it can lead to indirect aggressive movement of brain and skull bone. This can lead to
concussion,
neck injury and headache.
Tailbone injury usually does not cause headache, but the indirect force can cause headache. Usually it is not a severe injury if you do not have
: vomiting
: Loss of consciousness
: Focal deficit
: Bleed through nose/ear/throat
: persistent headache without relief
If there is no such feature, do not worry. Your headache is mild. If there is any of above feature, better consult ER as soon as possible. The doctor will advise CT head to rule out any bleed.
Meanwhile you can follow few tips at home
: Take rest
: Apply icepacks at injury site
: You can take tablet
Diclofenac after proper prescription
: You can apply Diclofenac gel over injury site
: Avoid compression at injury site.
Hope it will help you. Thanks. Take care.
