Is It Normal To Have Fever Post Flu And Pneumonia Shot?

husband had stent put in 11/8/14 at release from hospital 11/10 they gave him a flu and a pneumonia vaccine shot. It is 11/12 pm and he has had 101-102.8 temp. We went to ER they said flu serum reaction.
How long until fever of 101-102 is not a serum reaction and may be more serious? they did do xray and blood tests at hospital ER

Should we go back to ER if temp still 102 .3 ( right now it is) tomorrow a.m.?

HI
Well come to HCM
If fever is really due to vaccine then it may last for couple days, if this does not subsides on its own then possibility of some bacterial infection need to be ruled out looking to the history of angioplasty given here, hope this information helps, take care.
