Is It Normal To Experience Severe Pain After EGD?

I had an EGD two days ago, that showed gastric ulcers and gastric redness overall. Directly after the EGD, I developed a sharp extremely painful area below my umbilicus, like a hot skewer. Any idea why this would be, and I'm still experiencing the pain today.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern and from the history given here I could say that because of the investigative procedure there might be some trauma and this could cause the refer pain and this would come around if the symptom does not improved then you need to see the doctor again, take care and have a nice day.
