Is It Necessary To Inform About HIV Positive To Cardiologist?

Hello



I am 47 years old and a HIV positive petient since from last 4 years. My CD4 count is 850 two months back.

My Cardiologists suggest me to go through angiography. I have not declare my HIV status with my carliologist.



Just want to check do I need to declare HIV status and does hospital carry any HIV test before angiograply.

It's Bette to inform your cardiologist regarding your HIV status.
Definitely they will do pre procedural HIV screening.
So as a courtesy, you tell your doctor regarding your HIV status
It will not affect your treatment
