Is It Fine If A 2year Old Child Receives The Vaccine Intended At The Age Of 12 ?
MY 2 year old was given the wrong shot at his Pediatrician s office this morning. Was supposed to get Hep A and got a Meningitis vaccine intended for a 12 year old is there anything to be alarmed about. I know it was approved couple of years ago for younger kids but wondering should I worry?

see vaccines r there forpreventing the diseases from occuring by injection of attenuated /killed organisms/part of organisms ....so in general dont be so anxious ..look for any fever which sometimes follows vaccination... can use calpol syrup for this.... IN C/o more severe states which r usually rare to find consult ur paediatrician for examination of ur child
