Is It A Good Sign For Polyp Not Being Invsive?

I just had a bladder polyp removed but there was no bleeding when the polyp was present . Why is this a fairly good sign that the polyp may not be invasive. (I just had a polyp removed and am awaiting results - I am worried I will be in the 5-10 of polyp bearers where it will NOT be superficial). Thanks for you help.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Hello and welcome to HCM,
The polypoidal lesions of the bladder range from benign papilloma to an invasive malignant lesion.
Absence of clinical features of blood in urine increases the possibility of benign lesion.
However, diagnosis can only be made after histopathological examination.
If the lesion turns out to be a benign papilloma, no further treatment is required.
In case the lesion turns out to be malignant, further surgery and chemotherapy may be required.

Thanks and take care
