Is Intermittent Reddish-orange Urine A Sign Of Prostate Issues?

Is intermittent (about once a week) slightly reddish-orange urine a sign of prostate problem, if I have no pain and no difficulty to urinate? Can it be the spices in Ketchup, or tomato sauce in beans, or vegetable juice? I gave samples of urine and blood this morning, but my urine was plain yellow and did not seem to contain traces of blood, after fasting over 12 hours. I am 68 and had this for the last two seasons. In the Winter I do a lot of shovelling of snow. I have a good mind to reduce my tomato intake, and exercise more. What do you think?

As mentioned by you urinary difficulty is not there. urine report is also normal. Dietary factors are an important cause of urinary dyscoloration. But one should get urine routine and microscopy done when the urine color appear orange as hematuria need to be ruled out. so give sample when you feel its dyscolored.
