Is Indentation On Back Of Head Of A Child After A Fall Serious?

my boys was wrestling and my 9 year old pushed my 6 year old and he hit his head on the window seal. Its on the back of his head there is a indentation, he cried for a few mins. i applied ice for 30 mins. asked him a bunch of questions gave him a snack, hes acting normal. But the indentation is still there and its been 4 hours. should i take him to the ER or call the doctor tomorrow?

Hi, the indentations you are feeling could be due to the swelling or inflammation of the surrounding tissue. Unless there is vomiting continuously or Seizures or Watery of bloody discharge from ears and nose or Unconsciousness or Altered sensorium or behaviour, you need not worry. If these appear you need to take him to the emergency room immediately.
