Is High BP With Heaviness In Leg With History Of Stroke And Angioplasty Concerning?

My mother in law (age 70) have a sudden shoot up of Blood Pressure (150/90) since last night. She is feeling a heaviness in her left leg. She s taking medication for HBP. She has been feeling heaviness on her right leg and right had since she suffered a stroke in the last year, and had angioplasty in 2010. Is there anything we should be doing immediately for the HBP and heaviness on left leg. Is it a cause of concern? -advitha

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears to be thing to be concerned, as there is possibility of thrombosis.
I advise you to consult a neurologist for prevention, diagnosis and treatment of possible ischemia or hemiplegia.
She may need to have an M.R.I. for confirmation of diagnosis .
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and
protein rich foods to hasten the recovery.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
