Is Herpes, Related With Painful Rashes/blisters On Lips?

I have this skin rash looking bump on top lip, right side. Not at the corner of my lips where both lips connect, but right top side. It isnt a blister or anything, its not painful, and its the same color of my lips. Not really visible unless really focused up close, but when focused (since it make me feel self concious) it looks like a small cluster of bumps that forms one all together. I get these when kissing animals, ex. My sister's Dotson, or my Rocweiler. I hope its not herpes of any kind, but I dont have the money to go to a dermatologist or physician to get it check out. And someone help me?

thank you for query.with the description given it may be due to herpes.Herpes simplex virus (HSV1 and 2) can spread by oral or kiss or by skin to skin contact or sexual route.The chances are more when there are active lesions.Herpes can manifest as tiny water filled swellings(vesicles) which may be grouped many times.They may start with fever malaise .usually they are associated with pain or burning sensation or itching.there may be many cases asymptomatic or without pain.They usually are prone for recurrence.recurrence are less severe and go on decreasing over period of time.You can get back to me for any clarifications with the photos and details.Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist and Venereologist
