Is Heart Rate Of 103 A Cause For Concern?

My heart rate is 103...My blood pressure has always ran low and now it has been being good 111/72! I have secondary hyperparathyroidism...I also have nodules and cysts containing colloidal. Should I be concerned with heart rate being 103? My heart constantly races!

Hi,

You can check your pulse rate and maintain a chart. Check whether the rate is always keeps higher number or it is transient rise.

Do a thyroid function test as hyperthyroidism can cause elevated pulse rate.

If pulse rate is persistently high, you might require drugs like Metoprolol.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
