Is Headache After A Head Injury A Matter Of Concern?

This morning I fell out of bed & hit the top front of my head on the corner of the table. It left a dent that is sore, and even more sore when I touch it. I also have a slight headache. Is there any reason for me to be concerned?

Hello,

Some headache after a head trauma is very common, a headache of the intensity you describe is not a reason for concern. Only if headache goes increasing becoming very intense should it be evaluated. Other symptoms to watch for would be speech issues, double vision or vision loss, weakness or numbness of the limbs on one side, valance and coordination issues, seizures etc. However listing these just as a precaution, you should be fine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
