Is Having Heavy Menstruation Natural Post Child Delivery?

Hi ..I got operated for an ectopic pregnancy a month ago in which my right tube was remove and I currently have my first period since then. However the bleeding is very severe along with clots and cramps. Is this a sign that the body is getting back to normal ?

Hello,

I suggest to do a blood count. If don't have anemia there is nothing to worry about. You can use ibuprofen to relieve pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Blerina Pasho, General & Family Physician
