Is Having Headache Normal After Major Brain Surgery?

Is it common to have slight (small) headaches after you had major brain surgery. I had a brain aneurysm on the 4th of January. It was coiled and a stent put in. I am home now. Doctore went thru the groin area. I am71 yrs old. I am on several medications for my heart & I also have asbestosis.

Hello,

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist better to consult a neurosurgeon and plan for an MRI scan to rule out a secondary brain injury.
