Is Hair In Stools Be Due To Having The Habit Of Eating Hair During Childhood?
Hello, when I was little I used to eat my hair. Since then I ve stopped butI constantly find trades of my hair in my stool, I haven t eaten my hair since I was about four and stopped when I was seven and to this day I m only 14. All the hair I find in my stool is blond on one end and brunet on the other because the brunet hair dye is coming out of my hair but I never ate my hair when it was dyed brown and wouldn t all the hair I digested have left my system after the seven years (stopped at 7 and is now 14) I ve stopped eating my hair? And why is my current hair color in my poop when I m not even eating my hair?

I really appreciate your concern, it is very unlikely and not possible that hair being eaten some 7 years back remain inside digestive system and found in the stool, still if you want to clear the doubt then you can go for stool analysis, this is the option can be tried else it is nothing to worry, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
