Is Giving Asthakind-P Drops And D-Tus Syrup Safe For Cold And Cough To Infant?

my baby is suffering wit cold and cough. shall i use ASTHAKIND-P drops(ambroxol hydrochloride, terbutaline sulphate and guaiphemesin oral drops) , D'TUS (phenylephrine hydrochloride and chlopheniramine maleate drops) and CLAMP Suspension (amoxycilin and potassium clavulanate oral suspension IP ) doctor has suggested these medicines for my 4th month babyboy

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain as your baby is just 4 months old infant then having cough and cold is a common finding and I would not suggest you to give antibiotics and other medications as they should be avoided in infants less than 6 months of age..
You can keep your baby in a warm and cozy atomsphere..
You can give him/her steam inhalations and use a humidifier in the room..
You can give him/her saline nasal drops as it will help in easing drainage and prevent congestion..
You should give Tylenol for relief..
Feed with plenty of breast milk as it helps in reducing infection and boosting immunity..
Make the baby sleep with head slightly raised and chin down as it will help in easing nasal drainage..
Do warm compresses over her chest and nose..
