Is Getting Tattooed Safe In Condition Like Urticaria?

I have urticaria and I have been looking into getting a tattoo. I am currently on 3 medications that do not suppress the hives all the time. Those mediactions are ranitidine, hydroxyzine, and loratadine. In occasions where I have not taken these and my skin has flared up I have taken Benadryl and it works just as good if not better than the medications. What are the concerns I should have about getting a tattoo and what is your advice?

hi. urticaria per se is not a contraindication for getting a tattoo. however, you might be allergic to some component of tattoo and then it might be an issue. i suggest you to get a small part of tattoo done as a test one and observe it for couple of days. if you dont observe anything wrong, go ahead and get the tattoo you want. make sure you get tattoo from a professional who adopts to clean and hygienic tattooing practices. hope it helps
