Is Gast Reg Safe To Give To A 8 Week Baby?

Hi, my 8 week old baby has been given a product called Gast-Reg to assist with wind / colic. The dr told us only to administer if necessary. Is this product safe to use? I want to provide relief for her as other products (such as Infacol) have not worked. Thank you

Hi, Yes it is safe to use. Its an antispasmodic drug which is used to relieve pain abdomen. You can give 4 drops if baby has colicky pain. Try to use it occasionally otherwise baby will develop habit for it. In 90 percent cases if you put child on its back on your lap for 2 to 3 minutes, the colic gets relieved.
I hope this has helped you.
