Is Frequent Coughing Due To Rise In ESR?
Iam in kuwait and my wife is having cough for the last one month and a doctor gave medicine for allergic cough and after taking medicine for one week still coughing and her blood test shows ESR 55 and range 0-12.Iwould like to know whether this cough is due to ESR..Waiting for your valuable Advice

As her ESR is high requires evaluation of her case.
Go for x-ray chest,
Go for complete blood checking with Eosinophil count.
Is there any h/o loosing weight. ?
After all reports your doctor will have some clue about her problem and will go for treatment accordingly.
