Is Fraxel Laser Treatment Effective For Acne Removal?

i have moderate to mild acne scars on my face. till now i have undergone 3 fraxel laser sittings which have done little help to me but not much. kindly let me know how effective is the treatment and how much result i should expect out of it. my email id is YYYY@YYYY

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have acne on face which is because hormonal change at particular age and this condition is recurrent. As you have taken 3 fraxel laser sittings which is very effective way of treatment but it will take 5-8 sessions for complete cure. I would suggest you to visit dermatologist once to get your skin examined for laser therapy. You can go for dermabrasion, Fractional CO 2 Laser, Chemical peeling,Miocroabrasion as all these are all recent methods of skin clearing. You should start with use of topical antibacterial clindamycin gel as a spot treatment for acne during day time and at night you may use a topical retinoid like Adapalene gel. Don't pick up acne as it will leave scars on face.
