Is Folibest Tablets Responsible For Elevated Blood Pressure Level?

hi, am shyamala, working as a HR, i have a shivering problem of hands and headache. i am 30 years old. 2 days before i consult the doctor for my baby planning advise. Dr. advise me to have folibest i tablet in the early morning for 30 days. On that day BP 110/70. Kindly let me know what is the reason i have a shivering and what is the remedy for it. My weight is 55kg height is 165

Hi,

Blood pressure value you have mentioned is absolutely normal. Folibest contains folic acid and it is a vitamin which can prevent neural tube defects in a new born when the mother takes the drug right from the time of planning pregnancy. It is a very safe drug and does not cause side effects like raised blood pressure.

Shivering and headache can occur as a part of any viral infection. Kindly rule out any fever. Anxiety and panic attacks may also cause shivering or tremors.Avoid stress and practice mind relaxation techniques to reduce any anxiety.
