Is Femoral Opening Wedge Osteotomy Surgical Technique An Effective Treatment For Poliomyelitis?
Hi Doctor, I had a polio at the age of 6 years old and now I am 34 years old I also use walking aid. My right leg is deformed into valgus and recently I saw the consultant he recommended me a femoral opening wedge osteotomy surgery after he had a look into my X-ray. I am not sure which treatment is best for my polio right leg such as Ilizarov or femoral opening wedge osteotomy. Please advise me. Thank you.
