Is Excessive Sleeping Normal After Recovering From Sepsis Infection?

I recently had a bout of sepsis two weeks ago, was hospitalized for a few days and have been home. I was very tired when I got home and now two weeks later I am sleeping all day and all night. I have slept from Friday night to sunday at 3 p.m. was up until 10 and slept until 3 pm Monday. Should I get checked? or is this normal after such an illness
