Is Epitril Sufficient To Treat Generalised Anxiety Disorder Causing Panic Attacks And Dizziness?
Dear Sir, I am suffering from GENERALIZED ANXIETY DISORDER since last 10 years. It first started with panic attack 10 years back when I lost money in stock market. I undergone through ECG, Tread mill test and ECO test it was all normal. But still GAD is continuing. Any situation positive or negative creates GAD. I am engineer and too much engineering calculation for 3-4 hours make me feel like dizziness. I am diabetic and blood pressure is 140/90 with medication. I am 40 Yrs old and taking EPITIRIL daily for anxiety.
Kindly suggest me some aurvedic medicine.

Use of benzodiazepines alone does not help in the long run.Use of antidepressants liker SSRis/SNRIs like Desvenlafaxine,Sertaline and S citalopram apart from atypical antideprerssants like Trazodone and Desimipramine may help, these drugs may need to be taken for along time ,occassionally a coupleof years. These drugs need 3-4 weeks for their full effect to be seen,in the meanwhile a drug like clonazepam may be required.Regular exercises, counselling and destressing by spending time with family and friends, meditation, and listening to music and other hobbies will help.
