Is Endometriosis Possible After A Complete Hysterectomy?

Hello, Good afternoon, I was wondering if you could help me with a question i have. I had a complete hysterectomy approx 8 yrs ago due to severe endometreosis and pre-cancer cells on my cervix. Is it possible for you to still have endometreosis after a complete hysterectomy? My pain is the same as it was prior to the surgery and is just as bad. Thank you

Hi, I think endometriosis can be present in the pouch of Douglas and thus these can recur leading to the recurrence of pain. You can try some GnRH analogues for treatment.
