Hi, Endogest is micronized progesterone identical to the progesterone produced by ovary. It is generally used to maintain pregnancy and avoid miscarriage and pre-term labor. Of course, its use in pregnancy is a matter of debate, particularly in patients with normal range of progesterone. Still, its use in pregnancy will not cause any particular noticeable side effects except in a vary rare cases high level of progesterone may cause congenital adrenal hyperplasia. Take care.
