Hello
This is a very difficult to say "IS THERE TREATMENT FOR ELEPHANTIASIS OR NOT???"
Now a day better treatment option is available and better diagnostic technique e.g. ultrasound , lymphoscitigraphy, circulating filarial antigen assays, PCR .
While treatment based on block of lymph nodes , if one or two and very close to each other surgery is an option .
While diethylcarbamazine is still drug of choice but albendazole 400 mg twice in day for 21 days is another treatment .
In my opinion consult a hospital where treatment for communicable disease available .
Hope this will be useful for you.
