Is Diarrhea With Vomiting And Fast Heart Rate Serious?

My 3 yr. old daughter has had diahreah and vomiting for 3 days now. She went to the pediatrician today and her heart rate was 120.
She has to be given Pedialyte and Gatorade in a teaspoon every 10 minutes or so and I have to call the doctor back in a couple of hours.
She may be admitted to the hospital. We don't know yet.
How serious is this? We are very concerned.

I have evaluated your query for your daughter in details .

* This is in relation with intestine infection .

* Tachycardia ( raised heart rate ) is indicative of underlying volume loss
from the circulation , needs immediate hospitalisation before the
condition worsens .

Wishing her fine recovery .
Feel free to ask any further doubts .
