Is Deriphylyn Pill Safe For Breathing Issues During Bronchitis?

Hi,I took the asthalin inhaler 100mcg : 2 puffs around 12 hours ago leading to temporary relief and again took one puff 6 hours ago and one more puff about an hour ago, however I am not able to feel comfortable and not sleep. I am bronchitic but however I get fine after a single puff? I took some steam and hot milk just now to help me breathe better. I am still heavy breathing, can I have another 500mg of deriphylyn tablet to help me breathe with out the wheezing and sleep?Thanks,Sushant.

Thanks for your question on HCM. Yes you can definitely take derriphylin tablet. It will surely help you. I suggest you to take Long Acting Beta 2 Agonist (LABA) insead of asthalin which is Short Acting Beta 2 Agonist(SABA). The effect of Asthalin lasts for only 3-4 hours. So you feel breathless again after 4 hours. If you take LABA with inhaled CorticoSteroids (ICS), their effect will last for 10-12 hours. And their side effects are also less as compare to asthalin. So discuss these things with your doctor and start LABA+ICS combination.
